All General Surgeons perform hernia repair and most of them do it very well. Today the majority of hernias are repaired using a mesh prosthesis.

Dr. Bell has performed over 1500 laparoscopic inguinal hernia repairs, over 600 minimally invasive open inguinal hernia repairs, and over 500 ventral (incisional) hernia repairs. He teaches other surgeons hernia repair techniques on a regular basis.
