Dr. Bell has performed over 2000 laparoscopic antireflux procedures (Laparoscopic Nissen Fundoplication is one type). He has published research regarding patient selction, outcome, and techniques of antireflux surgery. He has been a speaker at the American College of Surgeons annual meeting, and regularly lectures to physician groups on patient evaluation, selection, and surgical technique. He is a consultant and educator for Sandhill Scientific, one of the companies that produces equipment to help in the evaluation of GERD. He is also a consultant and educator for Davol, a company that produces hernia products that are used in hiatal hernia repair.

Currently we are performing laparoscopic fundoplication, the EsophyX transoral incisionless fundoplication, heller myotomy for achalasia, complex and reoperative hiatal hernia and reflux surgery.
